Congratulations, Aly! His thesis, titled A multi-scale approach to exploiting measured and modelled building performance data to improve campus operations was focused on developing workflows to visualize energy flows in campuses, buildings, and building systems.<\/p>\n

In all, Aly submitted or published four journal articles, several conference papers, and gained considerable attention with his Sankey diagram research. In collaboration with NRCan, he recently developed an online tool that can be used to convert EnergyPlus IDF files into Sankey diagrams:\u00a0http:\/\/sankeydiagramsexperiments.com\/demo.html<\/p>\n
