The Sprott School of Business invites applications for a confirmation-track position(s) in Accounting (Instructor I/II/III) effective July 1, 2022.
The successful candidate will deliver undergraduate and graduate courses to a culturally diverse student body and participate actively in the ongoing development of our academic programs in a highly collegial environment.

About the Academic Unit
The Sprott School of Business is committed to excellence in teaching and research and is accredited by AACSB. Faculty have outstanding research expertise in the accounting profession, careers in accounting, expertise in accounting, governance and accountability, measurement and impact, performance management, social and sustainability accounting, taxation, voluntary disclosures and more. The School offers a variety of degrees including: Bachelor of Commerce with Honours including a concentration in Accounting, a Post-Baccalaureate diploma in Accounting, a Master of Accounting, a Master of Science in Management, and a Ph.D. in Management. The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree, or higher, and hold a Canadian CPA, designation. Candidates must possess at least five (5) years of professional experience in the Accounting field, consistent with AACSB guidelines for a doctoral-granting business school. In addition, demonstration of teaching effectiveness or of potential for teaching effectiveness will be required. Experience in data analytics or accounting for sustainability and professional marking/facilitating experience will be considered assets.
