Kinàmàgawin – Learning Together

Located in Ottawa, Carleton University is situated within the unceded traditional territory of the Algonquin people and supports First Nations, Métis and Inuit students from across Canada. We recognize our special responsibility to support the recommendations of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission.

We are working towards long-term change through the 41 calls to action articulated in Kinàmàgawin, our Indigenous initiatives strategy. As part of this, several full-time faculty positions have been created as a step toward reconciliation.

We invite Indigenous candidates to join our team and help support Indigenous learners and bring Indigenous knowledge into classrooms.
