York\u202fUniversity\u202fin\u202fToronto, Ontario is pleased\u202fto\u202fannounce the fifth cycle of the\u202fPostdoctoral<\/strong>\u202f<\/strong>Fellowship Program<\/strong>\u202f<\/strong>for<\/strong>\u202f<\/strong>Black<\/strong>\u202f<\/strong>and<\/strong>\u202f<\/strong>Indigenous<\/strong>\u202f<\/strong>Scholars<\/strong>, as part of our commitment\u202fto\u202fpromoting justice\u202fand\u202fembracing a variety of scholarly perspectives, backgrounds\u202fand\u202flived experiences. The program will offer emerging\u202fscholars\u202ffrom a wide range of disciplines access\u202fto\u202fthe financial support, mentorship\u202fand\u202fcareer development opportunities needed\u202fto\u202fbuild the foundation\u202ffor\u202fa successful professional future. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\u202fProvost\u2019s<\/a>\u202f<\/a>Postdoctoral<\/a>\u202f<\/a>Fellowships<\/a>\u202f<\/a>for<\/a>\u202f<\/a>Black<\/a>\u202f<\/a>and<\/a>\u202f<\/a>Indigenous<\/a>\u202f<\/a>Scholars<\/a>\u202fwill support up\u202fto\u202f2 successful applicants this year. With a salary of $70,000 provided each year\u202ffor\u202fa two-year term,\u202fscholars\u202fwill be able\u202fto\u202fdedicate their time\u202fto\u202fpursuing a proposed project, working alongside a supervisor\u202fand\u202fother mentors, while also gaining access\u202fto\u202fguidance from faculty,\u00a0students\u202fand\u202falumni.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
