After her completion of her Bachelor’s degree at Carleton University, Julia is now a first-year Master’s student in the Health: Science, Technology and Policy (HSTP) program at Carleton University. She is currently working with the Spatial Determinants of Health Lab on developing an interactive web-based mapping tool to better evaluate and present the health inequalities of rural Canadian residents.
Over the past few years, Julia has developed an interest in the access to mental health programs and services for Canadian residents, and actively volunteers for various community organizations in Ottawa. In future, Julia would love to work for a non-profit organization to improve the health outcomes for individuals living in Canada.
