Mel Edwards (she/they) is a PhD student in the in the Department of Health Sciences at Carleton University. Her research interests include the use of e-mental health to support underserved populations in rural communities. Mel leverages her psychology and social work background by using a strengths-based, community engaged approach in her research.
Prior to her work in this lab, Mel worked in various field including diversity and inclusion, child and youth mental health and neuropsychology.
