Reyhaneh Golestani (BA, MA, Free Range scholar) is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Health Sciences at the University of Carleton. She has a Master’s degree in Population Studies from the University of Tehran, Iran, which used census data to investigate socio-demographic factors affecting women’s employment. Her main interest areas are gender, family studies, and migration. Currently, she is working on her Ph.D. project, “Barriers to healthcare access for women residing in small communities through their life-course”, exploring gender inequalities on access to health in small communities for the three countries: Sweden, Canada, and Australia.
