Simon Boushel is a a Masters of Science (MSc) student in the Department of Health Sciences, with a focus in environmental epidemiology. Collaborating with the Schachar-Crosbie Lab at SickKids, his research uses data science, spatial analysis, and epigenetics to understand the effects of the environment on neurodevelopmental disorders in youth.
As a graduate of the Biology program (BSc) at Queen’s University, Simon is interested in combining his knowledge of genetics with data science to identify upstream determinants of health in vulnerable communities.
