The talk will be held online along with two others as part of the\u00a0<em>MCC@100 Conference<\/em>\u00a0panel \u201cMCC as Incubator and Catalyst\u201d on Friday, October 1<sup>st<\/sup>, 7pm-9pm. Attendees are asked to register (free)\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/mennonitestudies.uwinnipeg.ca\/events\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Based on participant interviews and archival research, this talk will explore how, in 1981, the\u00a0Winnipeg-based Mennonite Central Committee of Canada (MCCC) became pivotal to the founding of the worldwide non-profit Disabled Peoples\u2019 International (DPI).
