\nOrganis\u00e9e par Laurence Parent et Susanne Commend, chercheuses postdoctorales \u00e0 l\u2019Institut d\u2019\u00e9tudes f\u00e9ministes et de genre \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 d\u2019Ottawa, cette journ\u00e9e regroupera des chercheur-es, \u00e9tudiant-es et militants dans un cadre convivial et d\u00e9contract\u00e9. Cette journ\u00e9e fournira une opportunit\u00e9 d\u2019\u00e9changes et de r\u00e9flexion collective sur les \u00e9tudes critiques du handicap (Critical Disability Studies) en fran\u00e7ais.
\nM\u00eame si de plus en plus de chercheur-ses, \u00e9tudiant-es et militant-es se mobilisent \u00e0 travers le Canada, les \u00e9tudes critiques du handicap ne sont toujours pas parvenues \u00e0 v\u00e9ritablement prendre racine dans les communaut\u00e9s de recherche francophones. L\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat pour ce champ d\u2019\u00e9tudes et de recherche est n\u00e9anmoins en pleine croissance. Des termes nouveaux, tel que le capacitisme, sont de plus en plus utilis\u00e9s dans les universit\u00e9s et \u00e0 l\u2019ext\u00e9rieur de celles-ci. Le but de la journ\u00e9e est de cr\u00e9er un espace de rencontre et d\u2019\u00e9changes pour discuter des divers int\u00e9r\u00eats de recherche des participant- es, des d\u00e9fis et des obstacles \u00e0 faire de la recherche et enseigner les \u00e9tudes critiques du handicap en fran\u00e7ais.
\nSi vous souhaitez partager avec le groupe un projet sur lequel vous travaillez et qui pourrait int\u00e9resser les autres participant-es, veuillez l\u2019indiquer dans le formulaire d\u2019inscription.
