Planning around changes to library and Discovery Centre services is ongoing. This will be updated with new information as it becomes available.
This room has an 18-foot-by-5-foot projector screen and compatible computer with 7.1 surround sound. The room seats up to 60 people (with 50 chairs and 4 couches) and can be reconfigured to suit diverse events.

Please be aware when using the Multi-Media Lab that only covered drinks and food items in line with the library’s food policies are permitted.
The Discovery Centre encourages you to come familiarize yourself with the technology prior to use of the Multi-Media Lab so that your event can run smoothly.

The Multi-Media Lab can be booked for up to four class sessions, per class, per term. As it’s not part of the classroom list, it is requested that only special classes be held here. At this time the Discovery Centre does not support for-profit events or bookings by non-Carleton affiliated organizations. Please find booking instructions at the Enterprise Booking Portal. This room requires an approval confirmation email to your request.
If you plan on ordering food for your event, please note that only snack foods are permitted. No buffet-style, open foods that have a strong odour. Food permitted includes:
- Granola bars
- Veggie tray
