June 11, Carleton University<\/h4>\n<p>Annually, Carleton University hosts the <a href=\"http:\/\/carleton.ca\/fpa\/lecture-event-series\/katherine-graham-lecture\/\" target=\"_blank\">Katherine A.H. Graham Lecture on Aboriginal Policy<\/a>. \u00a0This years speaker, Val Napoleon, is a community activist and consultant in northwestern B.C. for over 25 years, specializing in health, education, and justice issues.<\/p>\n<p>Val Napoleon is the Law Foundation Professor of Aboriginal Justice and Governance at the Faculty of Law, University of Victoria, where she has worked with a number of projects relating to indigenous legal traditions, conflict management, education, and citizenship.
