Death notice in the Calgary Herald on Thursday, June 14, 1990:

GEEHAN – Randall Richard. Passed away suddenly in Singapore June 9, 1990, age 45 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth Anne; his children, Alison and Christopher; both parents, Grace and Oswald, Calgary, and his father- and mother-in-law, Dr. W.D. Stewart and Betty Stewart of Calgary. Also surviving are his brother Tom (Carol) of North Vancouver and sister Valerie (George Croome) of Red Deer, Alberta and numerous nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, and cousins. Dr. Geehan received his education at Queen’s, University of Calgary, London School of Economics, London, England, and MIT, Boston. Randy was on the faculty of Economics, Carleton University, Ottawa and was acting as a Consultant to the Indonesian Government at the time of his death. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, June 15 in the Music Room, 900 Tower Loeb Building, Carleton University at 11:00 a.m.
