Furthermore, there is English-language training for students who are not yet fluent in English and a structured and clearly defined course of study.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"application-information\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Application Information<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Canadians should apply through the&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ouac.on.ca\/\">Ontario Universities\u2019 Application Centre (OUAC)<\/a>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Non-Canadians should apply via&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/admissions.carleton.ca\/applicant-type\/international-applicants\/\">Carleton\u2019s \u201cInternational Applicants\u201d page<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Please Note:<\/strong>\u00a0All applicants to the M.Sc. in Economics are considered automatically for the Post-Bac in Economics. Those who are not sure for which program they are best qualified are advised to\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/graduate.carleton.ca\/programs\/economics-masters\/\">apply for the\u00a0master\u2019s program<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"admissions-requirements-and-deadline-information\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Admissions Requirements and Deadline Information<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The normal admission requirement is an overall average of B+ (9.00 grade points out of a maximum of 12.00) or higher over the two most recent years of study.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applicants who have not studied for at least three years in English must present evidence of English-language proficiency as described under the \u201cLanguage Requirement\u201d section of the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/economics\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/112\/2024-2025-Post-Bac-Handbook.pdf\">Post-Bac Handbook 2024-2025<\/a>. Students who maintain an average of B+ or higher during their PBD studies are given strong consideration for admission to the Carleton University M.Sc. in Economics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The PBD application deadline is&nbsp;<strong>April 1st<\/strong>&nbsp;for international applicants and&nbsp;<strong>June 1st<\/strong>&nbsp;for all other external September-entry applicants<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;Individuals enrolled currently in a degree or certificate program at Carleton who wish to transfer to the PBD should do so via&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/admissions.carleton.ca\/applicant-type\/internal-applicants\/\">Carleton\u2019s \u201cInternal Applicants\u201d page<\/a><strong>&nbsp;by June 15th<\/strong>.
