Getting Started with Zoom
April 22, 2021 at 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM
This workshop is intended as a critical introduction to the Zoom web-conferencing platform for those who are new to the tool or have limited experience running Zoom sessions.
Zoom is a reliable and user-friendly videoconferencing platform that is widely used at Carleton to convene live classes, as well as a variety of online meetings, presentations, and events.
In first portion of this session, we will focus on the basics of using Zoom, such as how to schedule a meeting and customise personal settings. From there, we will explore what features are available for classroom management, facilitating content delivery, and promoting student engagement.
This session is scheduled for 120 mins.
Space is limited. Please register in advance by filling out the form below.
