Motivating Students in Online and Blended Learning Environments

How do you gauge the motivational state of your students? Are there similarities between courses in which students report higher levels of motivation? In this session, we will look for the answers to these questions in motivational frameworks, such as the Theory of Flow and ARCS model for motivational design.
Participants will leave this session with ideas on how to positively influence student motivation to persevere and succeed in the course by applying good practices in their course design and delivery.
