Optimizing the Instructor-Instructional Designer Relationship for Online Courses
May 4, 2017 at 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM
|Location:||422 Dunton Tower|
Facilitators: Mathew Schatkowsky (EDC), Yuan Chen (EDC), Matt Sorley (Department of Psychology)
The design and development of an online course places instructors and instructional designers in a relationship that we rarely talk about. It’s a complicated relationship that can significantly influence the nature of our courses.
In this session, presenters will share their experiences, from both the instructional design and instructor perspectives, on the collaborative process of designing, developing and delivering a fully online course.
Join us and reflect on your own experience and consider how to make the most of the working relationship. You’ll leave with a checklist that can help facilitate instructors and instructional designers working together in an optimal way.
Please note: This session is geared towards those who have developed an online course or are thinking of doing so.
Space is limited, so please register in advance by filling out the form below.
