Milad Mohammadi graduated from Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic) in 2019, with an M.A.Sc. in Chemical Engineering. Prior to joining EERL in January 2021, Milad worked as a process engineer for an automotive & industrial lubricant manufacturer, and a technical representative for a syngas catalyst supplier working directly with major refineries and petrochemical plants in Iran. His current research mainly focuses on measurement and mitigation of emissions from gas flaring including wind tunnel experiments to allow for assessment of crosswind effect on emission rates of different species. It is aiming to refine the standards and regulations currently in place.
