He has been a lead researcher for the first-ever measurement-based methane emission inventory for Colombia&#8217;s oil and gas sector, and is currently working on the waste sector emissions. He joined the EERL team in 2023 as part of the Emerging Leaders in the Americas Program (ELAP).
