The Energy and Emissions Research Lab (EERL) leads a range of interdisciplinary projects in the rapidly developing field of methane measurement, reporting and verification (MRV). By leveraging state-of-the-art measurement technologies and advanced analytics, EERL tackles issues of both national and global importance.<\/p>\n

Our current projects include large-scale emissions measurements; the application of advanced data analytics to create measurement-based pollutant inventories; the development, integration and deployment of innovative optical diagnostics and advanced measurement equipment; life cycle assessment and techno-economic analysis to support regulatory development and drive mitigation.<\/p>\n

Joining EERL is a unique opportunity for students and post-graduate researchers to gain practical knowledge, develop relevant skills, and collaborate at a technical level with a diverse team of experts. You will work alongside EERL researchers and a wide range of project partners, including industry professionals, technical staff from provincial and federal government, and representatives from international NGOs.
