He is also director of the\u00a0FlareNet Network\u2014a group of researchers and academics from Carleton, four other Canadian universities, the\u00a0National Research Council (NRC), and\u00a0Natural Resources Canada (NRCan)\u00a0who study pollutants from fossil fuel production.<\/p>\n<p>Funded by the\u00a0Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC)\u00a0in 2016, FlareNet is a five-year, $6.9 million research project involving large-scale flaring experiments and field measurements.
