The Eastern Europe and Transatlantic Network (EETN) <\/a>and the North American and Arctic Defence and Security Network (NAADSN)<\/a> are pleased to present a full-day roundtable on security, resilience, and regional cooperation in the Nordic-Baltic states.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The roundtable brings together scholars, policy experts, and practitioners from Canada and the Baltic region to discuss NATO\u2019s eastern flank, hybrid threats, and Canada\u2019s role in Baltic security. Over the course of the day, panelists will share research and on-the-ground perspectives on the challenges facing the region and the opportunities for transatlantic collaboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About the conference<\/strong>
The Nordic and Baltic regions have become central to NATO\u2019s defence and deterrence, as hybrid and \u201cgrey-zone\u201d threats reshape European security. Canada is deeply engaged there: it leads NATO\u2019s Multinational Brigade Latvia, contributes over 3,000 Canadian Armed Forces members to Operation REASSURANCE, and is a Co-Framework Nation for Multinational Division-North.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
