Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Training

This 2 hour training course will provide employees with the basic knowledge required to receive dangerous goods or prepare hazardous waste for shipping safely and in compliance with the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Act. Additional training is required for individuals who will be shipping dangerous goods, particularly across federal borders.

TDG training is mandatory for all employees who:

• receive shipments classified as dangerous goods
• are involved in the disposal/manifesting of hazardous waste from the University

Supervisors are responsible to determine which employees in their work area require TDG training.
