I study and teach emotional geographies and qualitative research, with a focus on the ethical, theoretical, and practical challenges and resources that are located in embodied, elusive, first-person forms of knowledge. I am particularly interested in autoethnographic, literary, visual, reparative, materially-oriented, Indigenous, feminist and queer methods of making sense and use of experience, and in creative, performative ways of teaching. My PhD examined the aftermath of domestic abuse.
