Time to think
\nLoosing precious time
\nIn preparing for it
\nWe saw it coming but…
\nWe closed our eyes
\nWe ignored it, shunned it, made fun of it.<\/p>\n
Now it engulfed the world
\nIt\u2019s like a warzone
\nA health warzone
\nAttacked by an \u2018Invisible enemy\u2019<\/p>\n
\u2018This is worse than WW2\u2019
\nAn elder\u2019s comment
\nThen, we knew who was attacking us
\nThe physical devastation
\nThe health consequences
\nWe could see it<\/p>\n
Now \u2013 the enemy is invisible
\nHidden, minute, crossing all borders,
\nClaiming thousands of lives
\nBringing to world to still point – silence<\/p>\n
Reclaiming Time
\nTime to think of Practices, behaviours
\nTime for introspection, recall emotions
\nTime for realization
\nA wake-up call<\/p>\n
Individualism, consumerism, entitlement, privilege
\nWhat have we done to our world?
\nWe created an invisible monster
\nWe created chaos<\/p>\n
The world has been put on reset
\nAs if the mother nature is reclaiming what is duly hers
\nWe have no choice
\nBut stand still \u2013 be \u2013 and pray<\/p>\n
When this is all over\u2026 if ever
\nWil, we learn the lesson?
\nWill we change our practices?
\nWill we embrace our new identities?
