Carleton University’s Azrieli School of Architecture and Urbanism is marking 50 years of architectural education with a special two-day Forward 50 celebration.

Welcome Reception

When: Thursday, Oct. 4, 2018 at 5 p.m.
Where: In the “Pit” of the Azrieli School of Architecture, Architecture Building (Main Floor), Carleton

The reception will gather alumni, faculty and former professors.

In Conversation: The Spirit of Things Past, the Shape of Things to Come

When: Thursday, Oct. 4, 2018, at 6 p.m.
Where: In the “Pit” of the Azrieli School of Architecture

This alumni-led conversation will explore the formation of the school and the future of architecture. Alumni and the audience will reflect on the past half-century of architectural education at Carleton and share their thoughts on the next 50 years.

Picnic Lunch

When: Friday, Oct. 5, 2018, noon to 1:30 p.m.
Where: Gardens in front of the main entrance of the Architecture Building, Carleton

Students will host a picnic networking lunch for alumni and members of industry.

Alumni in the Studios

When: Friday, Oct. 5, 2018, 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Where: Rooms 440, 424, 414 and 507, Architecture Building, Carleton

Students and alumni will work together in the studio through various formats, including desk crits, portfolio workshops and TED talk-style discussions.
