Description

In this Candid Conversation (an informal mentorship event), you will hear from a representative from Trend Micro about their experience going from university into the workforce and how they’ve set their career up for success. This is a small group setting, with a maximum of eight women students, where back and forth conversation is strongly encouraged.

Who is this for? Women students in a Carleton University Bachelor, Master’s or Doctoral program, of: engineering, IT, applied science, computer science, mathematics, or physics. Current Carleton University women students interested in engineering and IT.

This will be run as a Zoom meeting, where attendees will have the ability to turn their camera and microphone on and type in the chat.

Cindy Vineberg, PMO Lead

Cindy is a senior leader who thrives in changing environments. She value customer focus, continuous learning and an analytical approach to problem solving. She graduated from McGill university with a Mechanical Engineering degree. She has been fortunate to have many opportunities to grow and apply transferrable skills to new roles. This has allowed her to experience application development, transformation projects and tune her skills in project delivery. She currently have the pleasure of leading program management for the Cloud One R&D team at Trend Micro. She enjoy working with diverse global teams. She is married with two children in their early twenties. She loves sports and the outdoors.
