Through a presentation and interactive Q&A with presenter Scott Turnbull, a Bachelor of Engineering grad (BEng/98), you’ll gain practical insights into approaching professional opportunities with confidence.

About Scott Turnbull



Scott Turnbull is an alumnus of Carleton Engineering and the Chief Technology Officer and Chief Marketing Officer at Fidus Systems, where he has dedicated over 23 years to driving innovation, guiding strategic initiatives, and fostering cross-functional excellence. As a key member of the Fidus Leadership Team, Scott brings a unique blend of deep technical expertise, creative problem-solving, and collaborative leadership.



In his role as CTO, Scott leads a talented team of Solutions Architects, working closely with clients—from nimble startups to global enterprises—to understand their complex electronic system needs, guide product planning, and support technical delivery. 



In 2025, Scott expanded his leadership scope by taking on the role of CMO, where he now oversees Fidus' Marketing Department. In this capacity, he collaborates with a high-performing team of marketers and works closely with the Director of Partnerships to amplify Fidus’ brand presence, market positioning, and client engagement.
