Carleton University\u2019s Faculty of Engineering and Desig<\/span>n <\/span>(<\/span>FED) prides itself for bridging the talent pipeline in local, national and international markets and supporting our students\u2019 and faculty members\u2019 research and entrepreneurial endeavors. Recently, Carleton\u2019s engineering programs and specifically our electronics engineering programs<\/a> were recognized by U.S. News & World Report<\/a> on the international stage. <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 2024 U.S. <\/span>News & World Report, an American media company that has published news, consumer advice, rankings and analysis, placed<\/span> FED <\/span>in the top 30 per cent<\/span> of engineering programs worldwide and<\/span> Carleton\u2019s electronics engineering programs 3<\/span>rd<\/span> in Canada.<\/span> Programs<\/span> are ranked <\/span>based on a variety of factors, such as producing research and global and regional reputation.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n

\u201cBeing named in the top 30 per cent of engineering programs worldwide and in Canada is a remarkable achievement for such a young and emerging institution,\u201d said Larry Kostiuk, Dean of Carleton\u2019s Faculty of Engineering and Design.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

This is based on how the universities were numerically ranked according to<\/span> their positions in the overall Best Global Universities category.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
