At the beginning of each month, we share a newsletter with information about upcoming events. <br><br>Keep reading to learn more about our offerings, <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/engineering-design\/about\/womeninengineering\/\">and head back to our website <\/a>for more detailed information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"program-initiatives-and-activities-include\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Program initiatives and activities include:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"mentorship-nights\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mentorship Nights<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mentorship Nights are intimate conversations for women students to access informal mentorship opportunities. Twice during the academic year, women students can participate in a roundtable discussion with working professionals from leading engineering and IT companies on topics like networking, the job application process, communicating effectively, and transitioning from university to the workplace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"study-lounge\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Study Lounge<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Study Lounge is a space in the Engineering Design Centre (EDC) for women students to develop personal connections, access graduate-level women study support, and do school work. Women students will need to sign-up for swipe card access to get in and out of the room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"career-and-networking-fair\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Career and Networking Fair<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is an in-person event hosted on campus for women students in STEM who want to establish and grow their professional network. Students who attend the event will get to speak to representatives who work at leading engineering and IT organizations. Participants will learn: what these organizations do, future employment opportunities, and how to establish employability skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"questions\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Questions?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Have questions?
