\n High School Field Trips\n <\/h2>\n \n \n <\/header>\n\n \n\n

Bring your class to Carleton for a High School Field trip which can count towards the SHSM (Specialist High Skills Major) program! These include a hands-on STEM activity, a mini-university style lecture, lunch in the dining hall and a tour of our exciting engineering and design labs and facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n K-12 STEM Workshops\n <\/h2>\n \n \n <\/header>\n\n \n\n

Virtual Ventures (operated under the Faculty of Engineering and Design) offers a variety of dynamic school workshops, at low cost (or no cost) to schools. Each Virtual Ventures workshop is between 1.5-3 hours in length, led by two current Carleton university students (in STEM disciplines) and are intended for 20-30 students. These programs have been designed in accordance with the Ontario Ministry of Education curriculum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Workshops are hands-on, fun, interactive, and have been designed with direct connections to the Ontario curriculum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These workshops can be delivered at your location (school) or on campus at Carleton University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
