We are committed to supporting women of all backgrounds, intersecting identities and experiences, including racialized women, women with disabilities, Indigenous women, etc., and encourage them to apply to this fund. This fund was made possible through our partnerships with industry and government organizations participating in the Women in Engineering and IT Program.

The application deadline (July 15, 2026) for the current cycle of funds has now passed. The next cycle, including revised conditions and deadlines, will be developed over the summer. Revised dates, deadlines and conditions will be communicated on this site and through our WiE&IT mailing list.

The purpose of this fund is to support women students to enhance their skills and professional networks. This funding can help women students attend conferences, workshops, seminars and other professional development events. Funding requests may include activities, registration fees, accommodations, etc. However, the fund does not cover meal expenses.

Applicants can request funding once per academic year (September-August).
