Professor Micheline White was awarded a SSHRC Insight Development Grant (2-3 years) for a project entitled “Elite Tudor Women’s Prayer Books as Material, Devotional, and Socio-Political Artefacts.” She will be examining the deluxe prayers books created by Anne Seymour, Duchess of Somerset, Lady Jane Wriothesley, and Queen Katherine Parr.
