Permission to register in a creative writing workshop is at the discretion of the course instructor. All interested students must submit a writing sample (portfolio) using the application form by Friday, July 31, 2020 for fall term courses and Friday, November 6, 2020 for winter term courses. Students will receive an acknowledgement email to confirm the department has received their writing sample. Decisions will be communicated by email no later than Friday, August 7, 2020 for fall term courses, and Wednesday, November 18, 2020 for winter term courses. Successful applicants will be granted an override to facilitate registration. Acceptance into a workshop is not guaranteed; students are advised to register in an alternate course until the selection process is complete. If workshops are not full, applications past this deadline may be considered by the instructor.
