Prof. Jody Mason will deliver the 2021 Canadian Literature Centre Scholarly Lecture, hosted by the University of Alberta, on Nov. 5th at 4pm ET. The event will take place on zoom. Her talk, “The ‘Creative Crusade’: Settler Colonial Antinomies and Books for Development in the Age of Three Worlds,” examines the postwar book donation schemes created by Canada’s first NGO, the Overseas Book Centre.
