I started to teach in 2001 and have been teaching secondary English classes ever since. I have held the Language Department Lead position for at least eight years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My English degree has informed all areas of my teaching. I use analytical skills when helping students to interpret different texts. I use oral-communication skills daily in class lectures, and when interacting with colleagues and parents. I use my essay-writing and editing skills when I teach students how to properly format essays and how to edit their writing.
