Chan School of Public Health, Harvard University (Summer 2019)<\/li>\n<li>Member, Global Burden of Disease (GBD) Collaborator Network.<\/li>\n<li>Member, Organizing Committee, CHAIM Research Center, Carleton University<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Biography<\/h3>\n<div class=\"main-wrapper\">\n<div id=\"maincontent\" class=\"container\">\n<p>Dr. Villeneuve obtained his training from the University of Waterloo (B.Math 1992), University of Ottawa (M.Sc., 1995), and University of Toronto (Ph.D., 2000). \u00a0He undertook postdoctoral work in the Department of Epidemiology and Community Medicine at the University of Ottawa in 2000, and was a Senior Research Scientist in the Healthy Environments and Consumer Safety Branch of Health Canada. \u00a0He was accredited as a Professional Statistician (P.Stat) by the Statistical Society of Canada in 2006. \u00a0He joined the Department of Health Sciences at Carleton University in July 2013.He has authored or co-authored on more than 200 peer-reviewed papers and has presented his research at numerous national and international meetings. He is currently supervising graduate students in the School of Mathematics and Statistics, and is on the thesis research committees of epidemiology students at the University of Alberta, and University of Toronto. \u00a0He currently has funding for his research from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, the Canadian Cancer Society Research Institute, the Ontario Ministry of Labour, Canadian Nuclear Labs, and the Alzheimer\u2019s Society of Canada. He also is a member of Health Canada\u2019s Wind Turbine Noise and Health Study Expert Committee. He currently serves of the editorial boards of the journals Environmental Research, Canadian Journal of Public Health, and Health Promotion and Chronic Disease Prevention.\u00a0 He has adjunct appointments in\u00a0Department of Epidemiology,\u00a0Biostatistics, and\u00a0Occupational Health\u00a0McGill University in Montreal and the Department of Public Health Sciences at Queen&#8217;s University in Kingston, Ontario.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<section class=\"content-columns-wrapper\">\n<h3>Courses<\/h3>\n<p>STAT2507 &#8211;
