He received his MSc (2019) from the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/english.iut.ac.ir\/\">Isfahan University of Technology<\/a>, focusing on computational solid mechanics and nanomechanics. During his master\u2019s, he joined <a href=\"http:\/\/memocs.univaq.it\/\">International Research Center on Mathematics and Mechanics of Complex Systems (MEMOCS)<\/a> in Italy to broaden his expertise in computational solid mechanics.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>His research area involves finite element analysis, molecular dynamics, numerical analysis of dynamic partial differential equations, and continuum mechanics. His work has focused primarily on\u00a0programming a numerical package to simulate <a href=\"https:\/\/link.springer.com\/article\/10.1007\/s00161-020-00912-1\">martensitic phase transformations<\/a> of Ni-AL alloys at the nanoscale. He has also worked on investigating <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tandfonline.com\/doi\/full\/10.1080\/15376494.2020.1870780\">the impact of thermal strains on phase transformations<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Hossein Rahbar joined the <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/eptl\/\">EPTL group<\/a> to develop multiscale process design tools for the synthesis of metallic agglomerates using atomistic modeling, which extensively contributes to technologies related to low-cost energy storage systems such as the new generation of Lithium-ion batteries.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","meta":{"_relevanssi_hide_post":"","_relevanssi_hide_content":"","_relevanssi_pin_for_all":"","_relevanssi_pin_keywords":"","_relevanssi_unpin_keywords":"","_relevanssi_related_keywords":"","_relevanssi_related_include_ids":"","_relevanssi_related_exclude_ids":"","_relevanssi_related_no_append":"","_relevanssi_related_not_related":"","_relevanssi_related_posts":"","_relevanssi_noindex_reason":"","_mi_skip_tracking":false,"_exactmetrics_sitenote_active":false,"_exactmetrics_sitenote_note":"","_exactmetrics_sitenote_category":0,"_links_to":"","_links_to_target":""},"people-type":[24],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.2 -
