{"id":320,"date":"2020-09-19T20:53:49","date_gmt":"2020-09-20T00:53:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/eptl\/?post_type=cu-people&#038;p=320"},"modified":"2023-12-03T20:39:24","modified_gmt":"2023-12-04T01:39:24","slug":"320","status":"publish","type":"cu-people","link":"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/eptl\/people\/320\/","title":{"rendered":"JasonScott"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I graduated from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/search?client=safari&amp;rls=en&amp;q=OntarioTech+University&amp;ie=UTF-8&amp;oe=UTF-8\">OntarioTech University<\/a> in April 2020 with bachelor\u2019s in mechanical engineering. \u00a0I have always loved to get to the bottom of how things work, and engineering is the only schooling I ever saw myself doing. Halfway through my undergrad I started to realize I wanted more than what the undergraduate program could offer me. I knew that I wanted to further my knowledge and understanding of engineering principles within the aerospace field. One of my top interests in the aerospace field is jet engine combustion and propulsion.<\/p>\n<p>I am very excited for my master\u2019s opportunity at <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\">Carleton University<\/a> with the <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/eptl\/\">EPTL<\/a>. I am a very outdoorsy person, and so far, I love the outdoor activity that the <a href=\"https:\/\/ottawa.ca\/en\">city of Ottawa<\/a> provides for me. I began my graduate program in September 2020 and my research is primarily on soot nanoparticle emissions from jet engine like fuels.
