I have recently completed my second year of Aerospace Engineering at Carleton University in the Aerodynamics, Propulsion and Vehicle Performance stream. I am very passionate about aviation and flying. In high school, I earned both my Glider and Private Pilot\u2019s Licenses. One of my goals it to become a Professional Engineer and work in the Canadian Aviation industry. I also aspire to eventually earn my Commercial Pilot\u2019s License and live the dream of flying for a living.<\/p>\n
As I began to career explore opportunities, research came across as an interest. To confirm this interest, I decided to work as an Undergraduate Research Assistant for the summer. The work of the Energy and Particle Technology Laboratory was appealing to me as I have a great interests in fluid mechanics and thermodynamics. The research opportunities with EPTL allow for me to apply my knowledge learned in class, develop new skills and learn from experienced lab members. This summer, my work is focused on modelling carbon black formation in reactors.<\/p>\n
