Carleton University – Sexual Assault Support Centre
Help make a positive difference in the Carleton University community, sign up to become a volunteer with our Centre. All volunteers will be provided with approximately 30+ hours of training on how to provide face-to-face confidential, anti-oppressive, survivor centered support to survivors of sexual violence. Volunteers will also be trained in how to educate others around sexual violence. This can be added to your co-curricular record and provides you with valuable skills and knowledge.
All volunteers must attend all mandatory training sessions which will begin in September. The mandatory training dates are as follows:
Tuesday, September 19th– 6:00pm-9:00pm
Saturday, September 23rd 9:00am-4:00pm
Sunday, September 24th 9:00am-4:00pm
Tuesday, September 26th 6:00pm-9:00pm
Tuesday, October 3rd 6:00pm-9:00pm
Tuesday, October 10th 6:00pm-9:00pm
Saturday, October 14th 9:00am-4:00pm
Tuesday, October 17th 6:00pm-9:00pm
