Elle a \u00e0 c\u0153ur de cultiver des milieux de travail inclusifs propices \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9panouissement et de mettre en place des structures \u00e9volutives \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9preuve du temps. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Premi\u00e8re \u00e0 occuper ses fonctions de vice-rectrice, de vice-rectrice adjointe et de directrice, la Dre Ngobia a trac\u00e9 de nouvelles voies en mati\u00e8re de leadership sans jamais perdre de vue son engagement en faveur de l\u2019excellence. Forte de son expertise en \u00e9quit\u00e9, diversit\u00e9 et inclusion (EDI), elle d\u00e9fend avec vigueur les droits de la personne et la justice sociale.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La Dre Ngobia b\u00e2tit des communaut\u00e9s fortes en favorisant un environnement o\u00f9 chaque personne est valoris\u00e9e et encourag\u00e9e \u00e0 contribuer. Ses efforts strat\u00e9giques ont valu au Coll\u00e8ge Sheridan d\u2019\u00eatre reconnu parmi les meilleurs employeurs pour la diversit\u00e9 au Canada, et ce, pour trois ann\u00e9es cons\u00e9cutives (2022, 2023 et 2024). &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reconnue comme une agente de changement, elle excelle \u00e0 b\u00e2tir des ponts entre des unit\u00e9s cloisonn\u00e9es et \u00e0 mettre en \u0153uvre des initiatives qui produisent des r\u00e9sultats mesurables tout en instaurant une culture de confiance et d\u2019appartenance. Ces qualit\u00e9s lui ont d\u2019ailleurs attir\u00e9 diverses distinctions, comme le prix du cadre de l\u2019ann\u00e9e&nbsp;2021 du <em>Globe and Mail <\/em>pour son leadership d\u2019exception ainsi que le prix \u00ab&nbsp;argent&nbsp;\u00bb pour l\u2019excellence du leadership en \u00e9quit\u00e9, diversit\u00e9 et inclusion de la F\u00e9d\u00e9ration mondiale des coll\u00e8ges et polytechniques en 2022. La Fondation Rotary l\u2019a aussi nomm\u00e9e \u00ab&nbsp;Paul Harris Fellow&nbsp;\u00bb en 2023 pour l\u2019importance de ses contributions.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Originaire du Kenya, la Dre Ngobia donne corps et coeur \u00e0 la philosophie Ubuntu&nbsp;: \u00ab&nbsp;Je suis parce que nous sommes.&nbsp;\u00bb Naturellement port\u00e9e \u00e0 la collaboration et au travail d\u2019\u00e9quipe, elle inspire ses coll\u00e8gues \u00e0 poursuivre des objectifs communs avec enthousiasme et en toute transparence.
