Ryan is returning to the ESP mentor team this year as one of the squad leaders. He found that working as an ESP mentor last year was good for his communication and organization skills, and just as importantly, he now has a new group of friends.
In addition to his studies at Carleton, Ryan is a member of Carleton’s Political Society and participates in debates and mock parliament as well as the Improv club. His number one piece of advice to ESP students is to attend all classes and workshops to get the most out of their academics. He is looking forward to checking in with both other mentors and students and supporting them in their efforts! If you are moving to Ottawa for school, Ryan might have tips for you, as he moved from Toronto to attend Carleton.
