Keep an eye on your email &#8211; notifications will be sent late June\/early July.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"registration-steps\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><a id=\"reg\"><\/a>Registration steps<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><em>Accept your offer of Admission<\/em><\/strong><br>Accept your offer of admission in <a href=\"https:\/\/360.carleton.ca\/\">Carleton360<\/a>. View your offer and follow the instructions to accept it. If that doesn&#8217;t work, try logging into <a href=\"https:\/\/central.carleton.ca\">Carleton Central<\/a>, and follow <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/esp\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/62\/how-to-accept-your-offer-fall-2024.pdf\">these instructions<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><em>How to register<br><\/em><\/strong>The Registrar&#8217;s Office has handy&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UCECrC7x9V1zLi_qdEHEzf-Q\/videos\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">how-to videos<\/a> and on their <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/registrar\/registration\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Registration<\/a> website.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Use your <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=PZ3TF9Jhh_Q\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Audit<\/a> to figure out which classes you should take.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Build and save a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=0JGR_eDT5yE&amp;t=95s\">draft worksheet<\/a> and be ready when your time ticket comes up.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><em>Time Tickets<br><\/em><\/strong>Info about what a &#8220;time ticket&#8221; is and the schedule will be posted <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/registration\/dates\/timetickets\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a>.&nbsp; You will be able to check in Carleton Central when your time ticket is on or after <strong class=\"myprefix-text-bold\">June 17th<\/strong>. If you do qualify for a degree and this date doesn&#8217;t change, <a href=\"mailto:esp.advising@carleton.ca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">email us<\/a> for help.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><em>Course Selection Advice<\/em><\/strong><a id=\"advice\"><br><\/a>The <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/academicadvising\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Academic Advising Centre<\/a> has advisors who are experts on graduation and program requirements. Here is a useful link from their website on how to read an <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/academicadvising\/your-academic-audit\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Audit<\/a> (you have an <strong class=\"myprefix-text-bold\">Admissions Audit<\/strong> in <a href=\"https:\/\/central.carleton.ca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Carleton Central<\/a> with your offer of Admission).\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Each department has a departmental advisor who can help with questions specific to courses and opportunities in your major (course advice, co-op, and practicum advice, etc.). Follow this link to find out who the departmental advisor for your new major is: <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/academicadvising\/departmental-advisors\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">carleton.ca\/academicadvising\/departmental-advisors\/<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A couple of <strong class=\"myprefix-text-bold\">ESP related tips<\/strong>:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If you are in a program with a <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/academicadvising\/degree-requirements\/#breadth-requirements\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Breadth requirement<\/strong>,<\/a> we recommend that you email the <a href=\"mailto:registrar@Carleton.ca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Registrar<\/a> to request that your FYSM count toward one of the breadth categories. Not sure which it would qualify for? <a href=\"mailto:esp.advising@Carleton.ca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Email us<\/a> for advice.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Some classes next year require second-year standing, while others just require the first-year intro course as a prerequisite.
