The Jean and Richard Van Loon Spirit Award<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The ESP Jean and Richard Van Loon Spirit Award<\/em> will be awarded to an Enriched Support Program student who has helped to make a difference to others in their year with the program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The winner will receive $2,500-$3,000 toward degree studies at Carleton University the fall following their ESP year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nominate the winner<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Current ESP students are invited to nominate a fellow student for this Award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deadline: <\/strong>April 30<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

You just fill in the online form below<\/a> \u2013 it\u2019s easy and takes 10 minutes! Tell us what makes your nominee worthy of an award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Criteria<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To be considered, a student must:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  • be a current ESP student<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • receive one or more nomination(s)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • complete at least 3.0 credits (unless registered with PMC)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • have excellent workshop attendance<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • be registered in a degree in September following their ESP year<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    CIE will review the nominations and choose a winner based on who meets this criteria and who receives the best nominations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Nomination Process<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Nominations are accepted from ESP students, Workshop Facilitators, Mentors, Academic Advantage Coaches, and CIE faculty. The Award winner will be notified in June.<\/p>\n\n\n
