It surveyed the main policy tools implemented by the EU in Georgia to promote regional stability, as well as the Union\u2019s growing engagement in conflict resolution issues. The focus was placed on the EU Monitoring Mission (EUMM) deployed in the aftermath of the 2008 conflict between Tbilisi and Moscow. Despite EU member states\u2019 reluctance to develop a more prominent conflict resolution role in Georgia, the EU has utilized a comprehensive approach to security issues.
