The Jean Monnet Chair (EUREAST), Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence, the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Canada and the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Ottawa, are very pleased to co-host, “100th Anniversary of Czechoslovakia: From Partners in a Federation to Partners in the EU.”<\/p>\n

The presenters,\u00a0Professor Veronika Ambros<\/a>, University of Toronto and Dr. Mar\u00edna Zavack\u00e1<\/a>, Institute of History at the Slovak Academy of Sciences (Bratislava), will be discussing the historical perspective of the last 100 years and today’s Czech and Slovak cooperation in the European Union.<\/p>\n

The presentations will begin at 3:00PM and a reception with light refreshments will follow the round table beginning at 4:30PM.<\/p>\n

This event is free and open to the public. Registration is required to attend.<\/p>\n
