This workshop, held at Carleton University in February 2019, featured leading experts who addressed political, social, and economic impacts of accession on the acceding countries.<\/p>\n<p>Revised articles based on selected presentations at that workshop have now been published (June 2020) in the <em>Canadian Journal of European and Russian Studies<\/em>.
