100th Anniversary of Czechoslovakia: From Partners in a Federation to Partners in the EU

The Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence, Jean Monnet Chair in EU Relations with Russia and Eastern Neighborhood (EUREAST), the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Canada and the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Ottawa, are very pleased to co-host, “100th Anniversary of Czechoslovakia: From Partners in a Federation to Partners in the EU.”

The presenters, Professor Veronika Ambros, University of Toronto and Dr. Marína Zavacká, Institute of History at the Slovak Academy of Sciences (Bratislava), will be discussing the historical perspective of the last 100 years and today’s Czech and Slovak cooperation in the European Union.

The presentations will begin at 3:00PM and a reception with light refreshments will follow the round table beginning at 4:30PM.
