Event Description:

Twenty years after the collapse of the Soviet Union, its legacies still have a far-reaching impact on Europe, Russia, and Eurasia. At the same time, all of the former Soviet republics have forged new identities which they are continuing to foster .

The former directors of ISEES, CERAS, and EURUS will reflect on their impressions of the collapse, its impact on the region, and how it has shaped their own research as well as transformed the Institute, from Soviet and East European Studies to European, Russian, and Eurasian Studies.
